Navigating fame can be a challenge, but fortunately for these duos, they didn’t have to do it alone.

Stars such as Tia and Tamera Mowry,Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, as well as Dylan and Cole Sprouse, found success as duos in their early years and have navigated the highs and lows of the industry together.

“Having a twin in Hollywood has its pros and cons,” Tia said on an episode of her YouTube show Quick Fix. “The pros would definitely have to be that Hollywood execs were so interested in creating a project for us and that’s how Sister, Sister came about. It wasn’t something that was written for someone else. These roles were specifically written for my sister and myself,” she explained.

“It became a con as you get older,” she added. “People tend to kind of put you together as if you’re one person and wanting to have an individual career, it’s harder for people to accept that and believe that Tia and Tamera are two different people ... We really had to work very hard to create our individual identity, but I feel very grateful that we have done that.”
