Stephen Gan at V Magazine continues to outshine the competition down at the newsstand. After all, the editor has mastered the knack of securing the crème de la crème from the world of fashion and entertainment as cover stars. Names like Natasha Poly, Slayyyter, Demi Moore, Imaan Hammam, and Jennie (of Blackpink) have featured on the New York-based publication of late. Next up on the cover of V Magazine for Issue #162 Fall 2026 is Anya Taylor-Joy. The Golden Globe Award-winning actress teams up with the photographer Nick Knight for the occasion, with Anna Trevelyan reporting for styling duties. In the crisp cover shot, Anya wears a gown crafted from bonded tissue paper, designed by Zac Posen at Gap Studio.

“Very pleasantly surprised by this, despite feeling completely exhausted at the sight of Anya Taylor-Joy. I love the sense of light, airiness, and fairytale-esque glamour. I will say, however, that the whole product placement with the Montblanc pen is CRINGE level 1000!” vogue28 exclaimed.
“Would have been perfect without the pen and phrase,” echoed kokobombon.

“I keep thinking that I’ve seen this pen everywhere and in every pose possible. Can their marketing team not integrate it in a better way?” asked prada melodies.
Also not exactly best impressed was MModa. “Is this really all that V could come up with for their big fall fashion issue? Anya Taylor-Joy is so blah, and this shoot is forgettable,” they shared.
