Brooke Gets Sexy to Convince Ridge She Should be Forrester’s Co-CEO [Recap] (CBS)On today’s The Bold and the Beautifulrecap:Hope Convinces Brooke to Push For Co-CEO on The Bold and the Beautiful

Hope continues to tell her mother she should be co-CEO of Forrester. She notes with a renewed focus on Eric and couture; Forrester is focused on tradition. Brooke’s return to the top should happen now… Brooke says she is ready to step in and notes how much she would love to run everything with Ridge… but she couldn’t work towards destroying Ridge and Steffy’s relationship.

Hope wonders if Ridge and Steffy ever factored their mother/daughter relationship into their decision making. She wonders what would happen, just this once, if Brooke put herself first (HAHAAHAHA). Brooke admits she is intrigued by the possibility and promises to discuss it with Ridge that evening.

Steffy and Ridge Score a Big Deal For Forrester Creations on The Bold and the Beautiful

Steffy, Ridge and Carter are looking over the couture strategy, and all the associated papers Carter has drawn up… (Somebody better double check his work!). He says they are the dream team co-CEOs of Forrester Creations.

Steffy is on the phone with Finn making plans for later when Hope saunters in. Steffy has no time and notes she had a busy day finalizing a big deal for Forrester. They get back into the Hope For The Future of it all and the personal vs business aspect. Steffy says she’s just going to have to accept their decision as there isn’t anything she can do. Hope whispers she’ll just see about that…

Katie Decides to Risk Telling Donna About Hope’s Possible Defection

Katie is on the phone at Logan searching for a new lead designer when Donna arrives with lunch and a snarky comment about not being able to find anyone who will live up to Eric. She wonders where Logan can possibly go after a collection produced by the master.

Donna notes Katie is pushing around her food and knows she is stressed. She promises she can tell her anything. Katie is determined not to let the company fail, but is annoyed by Donna’s questions as they focus solely on the Eric of it all. Katie admits there is something she has to share but Donna must promise to keep her secret even from Brooke.

Donna can’t promise anything until she knows what’s happening. Katie is bursting at the seems, but Donna says she can’t make sweeping promises. Donna begs to know what’s going on as she is kind of freaked out. Katie does want to open up to her and Donna FINALLY promises to be a vault for her sister.

Katie says they need to do something to grab attention, another big name, a fashion icon, to capture the fashion headlines and create buzz… like Hope. Donna is stunned and says there’s no freaking way she can do this.

Brooke Uses Sex to Sell Her Elevation to Co-CEO of Forrester Creations

Brooke is dressed in sexy lingerie, has lit candles and chilled champagne in anticipation of Ridge’s arrival. He walks in and just knew he should have cut work short today. She says this evening will be a celebration of all they’ve accomplished in the past and all she knows they will accomplish in the future.

Ridge wonders what’s on his beloved’s mind and she admits she’s focused on Stephanie. Ridge is perplexed as he had lovin on his mind. She thinks back about all the adversity they overcame at his mother’s hand and how she always wants to be by his side… in their house, bedroom and office. She brings up her conversation with Hope, which immediately frustrates Ridge. He says Steffy made a sound business decision, which wasn’t personal (everybody drink!). Brooke disagrees and thinks Steffy brings her personal grievances into the office. She says Steffy will always be his daughter but will she always be his co-CEO (this conversation is awkward). Ridge is rightfully perplexed when Brooke says she wants to be made co-CEO, right alongside him.

Ridge pushes for details and Brooke says she wants to usher in a new era at Forrester Creations, harkening back to the origin story of Eric and Stephanie. She thinks they could be the fashion King and Queen of Los Angeles that his parents were back in the day. Ridge thinks back with a smile, but in the present, he can’t believe she’s possibly asking him to demote his daughter. Ridge thinks Brooke’s idea is coming out of the blue (it really is). She doesn’t want Steffy fired. He only needs to give her a different title as she will be fine. Brooke looks him in the eyes and asks to be granted her wish of running the company with her beloved. She wants an answer right there, right now. With that, Brooke lets her sexuality do the talking…
