Bruno Mars' latest Detroit visit brought him to Ford Field Saturday night, May 9, as he kicked off a two-night stand at the Lions' downtown stadium.

The R&B-pop star hit the stage at 8:47 p.m. for the latest show on his tour supporting his fourth studio album, "The Romantic," following an opening set from Leon Thomas.

Detroit is the ninth city on the tour, which is set to run through December.

Mars and company will be back at Ford Field on Sunday for another round.
