Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu proved this week that some things never change.

The Charlie's Angels stars reunited on The Drew Barrymore Show on Friday. Liu, who is currently promoting Rosemead, wore the same tan suit as Barrymore for an adorable twin moment.

Cheers erupted from the audience as the Kill Bill actress stepped out in the exact outfit as the daytime talk show host, immediately greeting Barrymore with a long hug. From the matching suit sets and ties to their platform heels, the duo was perfectly coordinated. Liu completed her outfit with a natural makeup look and her hair down and straightened.

"Yes, we are in the same outfit, cause that's how we roll," Barrymore told the audience. "We are two-thirds of the elite crime-fighting team."

Before Barrymore praised her friend on her performance in Rosemead, she mentioned that their other Charlie's Angel co-star, Cameron Diaz, is currently filming a movie in New Jersey, and that the trio had plans to hang out over the weekend. They also quickly hinted that Demi Moore, who played the villain "fallen" angel in the 2003 film Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, will possibly meet up with them as well.

In a clip posted on Instagram, Barrymore told Liu that Diaz is having a great time filming her new project, telling her and the audience that she's happy and loves the clothes she's wearing, stating how "uncomfortable wardrobe can be." Liu then immediately responded, "That's why we are matching."

In Liu's new project, Rosemead, she plays Irene, a Chinese mother who is shocked by the discovery of her teenage son's violent obsessions and must go to great lengths to protect him and others. The movie is based on a true story, specifically this Los Angeles Times column by Frank Shyong that was published in May 2017.

"This film doesn't exist in our community, and it doesn't exist in our lexicon," Liu explained. "We wanted to make this movie for people who don't want to feel that they are marginalized, and that they can feel like they belong and don't feel so lonely."

Rosemead was released in select movie theaters in New York City on Friday, and will be in theaters in Los Angeles starting next week on Dec. 12. A nationwide release will take place on Jan. 9. Meanwhile, The Drew Barrymore Show airs at 9 a.m. ET on weekdays, and can also be streamed on Paramount+ and fuboTV.
