Former Clemson safety lands with new NFL team, opportunity to play
Former Clemson safety K’Von Wallace is getting another NFL opportunity, this time with the Baltimore Ravens.
Baltimore announced Monday that it has signed Wallace, a six-year NFL veteran who most recently spent time with the Houston Texans during the 2025 season. Wallace appeared in three games for Houston and recorded nine tackles, including two tackles for loss.
A former fourth-round pick by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2020 NFL Draft, Wallace began his NFL career in Philadelphia before later spending time with the Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks. He has also had practice squad stints with the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants.
Across 74 career NFL games with 20 starts, Wallace has totaled 177 tackles, eight passes defended, one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. His most productive season came in 2023, when he combined for 89 tackles, six pass breakups and an interception while playing with the Cardinals and Titans.
Wallace has also built a reputation as a contributor on special teams throughout his career. Last season with Houston, he logged snaps on both defense and special teams.

The Ravens could utilize plenty of three-safety looks under defensive coordinator Jesse Minter, with Kyle Hamilton, Malaki Starks and Jaylinn Hawkins expected to headline the group. Wallace is expected to compete for depth and special teams responsibilities in Baltimore’s secondary.
Before entering the NFL, Wallace put together a strong four-year career at Clemson from 2016-19. The two-time national champion finished with 178 tackles, 21 pass breakups, five interceptions, two sacks and two forced fumbles across 59 games and 36 starts. He also left Clemson tied for the most games played in school history at the time of his departure.
Wallace now joins a Ravens roster that already features several former Tigers, including cornerback Nate Wiggins, linebacker Trenton Simpson, offensive lineman John Simpson and running back Adam Randall.
