Jennifer Garner is one of the most successful actresses in Hollywood, and her professional work rarely goes unnoticed. She has starred in more than 30 movies over her decades-long career, and is known for her roles in Pearl Harbor, 13 Going on 30, and Elektra.
However, Garner's impact goes far beyond the big screen. The actress is notoriously philanthropic, and her personal impact is making a difference to communities around the world, as well as one near and dear to her.
On Friday, Garner visited an elementary school in Clay County, West Virginia, which neighbors the actress's hometown of Charleston, West Virginia. After her visit, Garner posted an adorable Instagram video of her interaction with students. The video provides 40 seconds of feel-good inspiration we can all use.

In the clip, Garner can be seen enthusiastically participating alongside the children in various reading activities, giving high-fives, kissing her brain, and cheering in support of her young partner.
Garner has been a long-time supporter of the Save The Children Organization, and frequently uses her social media platforms to raise awareness and highlight the group's initiatives. Early childhood education and educational support programs are two passions of the actress, and Friday's visit was in support of in-school, after-school, and home visitation programs to strengthen students' reading skills.
Garner's fans are chiming in with messages of praise for her and her mission: "Thank you, Jennifer Garner, for loving West Virginia, our schools, and our kids! I am a WV teacher, and it means to world to us to have your support," one fan said. "You’re such a beautiful light in the world!!!! Keep shining," was a sentiment shared by another. "Awe @jennifer.garner you are such an inspiration and great with the kids. Keep up the great work," said another.
As a teacher myself, I can say that Garner's advocacy for such programs is hugely important, as early elementary school is where the foundation for successful literacy begins. I am also impressed by Garner's stellar decoding skills while reading and spelling words from the 'it' family, and how well she supported her classmates! Personally, I would love it if she showed up in my classroom with that kind of enthusiasm, and I am sure this is a day the students and staff will not soon forget!
