Adriana Rizzo has finally returned to WWE television this week. However, the NXT star returned in a very different role on WWE EVOLVE.

Rizzo had been away since suffering a torn ACL and meniscus. She announced the injury back in August 2025. Her last WWE match came during WrestleMania weekend in April 2025. She faced Karmen Petrovic at WWE World before getting injured.

A few weeks ago, Rizzo revealed she had been cleared to return. This week, she finally appeared on WWE EVOLVE. Instead of wrestling, she worked as a backstage interviewer.

During the show, Rizzo interviewed Harley Riggins after his match with Ulka Sasaki. She asked him where Kam Hendrix was. Riggins said he had Hendrix’s back, and Hendrix had his back. However, he also said it was time for a ride alone. He then called out Tate Wilder, saying they were not finished yet.

The appearance marked Rizzo’s first WWE television appearance in several months. After the show, Rizzo reacted on X, formerly known as Twitter, with a new nickname. She posted, “Rizzo Rantz has arrived on Evolve!” It remains to be seen when the NXT star will make her in-ring return.
