The Pinstripe Bowl is set for its latest installment on Saturday, Dec. 27 between Penn State football and Clemson.
It's a Big Ten-vs.-ACC matchup that could see Mother Nature's impact: a snowstorm and cold front is moving its way through the Northeast Corridor and the New York boroughs.
While snow is expected to be finished — or nearing its finish — by Saturday's noon ET kickoff inside Yankee Stadium, temperatures are expected to be in the high teens to low 20s following the wind chill feel ,making for a challenging playing atmosphere for players.

Playing in the cold in the Northeast is nothing new for Penn State, which is just over a three-and-a-half-hour drive from the MLB ballpark.
"We practice every day outside in this weather. It's cold, and the guys are adjusting to it. We're all from the north, so cold weather is not really a concern for us," Penn State interim head coach Terry Smith told reporters during a media availability on Friday, Dec. 27.
It is a notable change of climate for Clemson and coach Dabo Swinney, though, as the Tigers play their home games in South Carolina, which generally has a more temperate climate. In his availability on Dec. 27, Swinney told reporters that he has never played or coached in the snow before, but it is a change the Tigers appear ready to embrace.
"It would be an amazing experience. It's something I've never done. A lot of things I've never done, and I'm getting a chance to experience this week. ... Now maybe (I) have a chance to get a football game in the snow. I've never done that," Swinney said. "It would be a really cool experience for our guys. They're ready to play. ... It's all part of it, and we're excited about it all."
