Police say violent behaviour will not be tolerated
High visibility police patrols are to take place in Guernsey during England's World Cup quarter-final game on Saturday night.
Ch Insp Adam Parry-Jones, of Guernsey Police, said there would be "robust responses" to those carrying out criminal behaviour.
Members of the public have been encouraged to speak to police officers throughout the night if they have concerns or require assistance.
England are set to take on Norway at 22:00 BST on Saturday, following their 3-2 victory over Mexico earlier in the week.

Parry-Jones added: "Town is expected to be very busy with people watching the match.
"No matter the result of the game, anti-social or violent behaviour will not be tolerated.
"There will be a robust response to offenders who are caught drink or drug driving and being abusive to their families or other people."
