Pro-Trump ‘Days of Thunder’ Star Urges Tom Cruise to Not Be a ‘P*ssy’ and Boot ‘Woke’ Anne Hathaway From Sequel

He’s more of a Nicole Kidman guy.

Actor Randy Quaid called on his old Days of Thunder co-star Tom Cruise to not be a “p*ssy” and fire “woke” Anne Hathaway from the sequel to the 1990 racing flick, with the pro-Trump actor arguing she will do nothing but alienate MAGA fans like himself.

Quaid ripped Hathaway and offered a few casting suggestions in a series of X posts on Saturday.

“We need Nicole back,” Quaid said in response to a clip Cruise posted of him and Hathaway teasing the sequel. He was obviously referring to Nicole Kidman, Cruise’s ex-wife and one of the stars of the first movie.

He then said: “Don’t be a p*ssy, Tom Cruise. You need the original girl. It’s not personal; it’s filmmaking. Anne isn’t sexy, because and if you haven’t noticed, she’s pregnant.”

The man who played “Cousin Eddie” in several Vacation movies continued by saying if he was in charge of production, reuniting Kidman and Cruise would be a no-brainer. He then turned back to bashing Hathaway for being a liberal.

“Anne Hathaway is a leftist, woke, horrible choice for DAYS OF THUNDER NASCAR audience who are MAGA,” Quaid vented. “The sexy older chick for Tom in this film needs to be Nicole. That’s the casting that would sell the idea. It’s interesting because when we made the first one there was also a rush to get it out; editors slept in the cutting room on shifts. This is a weird thing, like they want it to come out and tank.”

Quaid — who has made his love for President Donald Trump known over the years, including calling him the “greatest” president in American history – is not the first person to criticize Hathaway for her politics this summer.

A ton of right-wingers scorched Hathaway for a resurfaced 2018 speech in July, coinciding with her big role in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.

“With the exception of being a cisgender male, everything about how I was born  has put me at the current center of a damaging and widely accepted myth,” Hathaway said. “That myth is that gayness orbits around straitness, transgender orbits around cisgender, and that all races orbit around whiteness. And it is a myth that keeps money and power in the hands of the few, instead of being invested in the lives of the free.”

Hathaway said she “rejected” the myth and, with the help of her comrades, was working to “destroy” it.

The Days of Thunder sequel is slated to come out in June 2028.
