Salma Hayek celebrated her 60th birthday with head-to-toe glamour and a playful tradition.
In a video shared by a family friend, the Frida actress looked radiant in an ultra-plunging silk slip dress and a statement diamond necklace.
Hayek shared a sweet moment with her lookalike daughter Valentina, 18, as she took part in a Mexican birthday tradition.
Salma Hayek embraced high-octane red carpet glamour as she rang in her 60th birthday with a private fête on September 2. In a video shared by a family friend, the Frida actress tapped into a leading lady style moment while celebrating the milestone in an ultra-plunging floral slip dress paired with a statement diamond necklace.

In a clip re-shared by Hola! magazine from Bu Cuarón, who is the daughter of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban director Alfonso Cuarón, Hayek could be seen taking part in a Mexican birthday tradition called “la mordida.” The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit star looked radiant in a colorful form-fitting silk dress with barely-there spaghetti straps and a low-cut neckline. The silky gold material appeared to be covered in a bouquet of pink, blue, and orange floral designs, adding an eye-catching element to Hayek’s birthday dress with a subtle sheen.

The Desperado actress dialed up the sartorial drama with a multi-watt diamond necklace that looked like it was inspired by a shirt collar. The dazzling design appeared to be encrusted with colorful stones and featured hanging gem pendants.

With the help of her lookalike daughter Valentina, 18—whom she shares with her husband, French billionaire businessman François-Henri Pinault—Hayek enjoyed the “first bite” of her large birthday cake with a messy ritual.
In the clip, the blonde-haired teen could be seen pulling back her mom’s curly dark brown hair and pushing her face into the red-and-white confection for a quick taste. Hayek took the tradition in good spirits, making a playfully resigned face and lifting her arms in the air as she emerged with frosting on her chin and nose.
Valentina coordinated with her mom in a strapless mint and gold floral corset, which featured a lace-up detail in the back, and a floor-length silver skirt. She laughed and clapped along with the rest of the guests as they celebrated Hayek against the backdrop of elegant pillars, marble statues, and large floor lanterns.
