After nine grueling episodes, just two celebrities were still standing at the conclusion of Fox's *Special Forces: World's Toughest Test* season 4.

Eighteen stars took part in the competition, including *Empire* actor Jussie Smollett, *The Real Housewives of New Jersey* star Teresa Giudice along with her daughter Gia, actress and *America's Next Top Model* cycle 3 winner Eva Marcille, and *Sister Wives* star Kody Brown. Throughout the season, ex-United States Special Forces operatives pushed the celebs to their physical and mental limits with demanding training exercises.

But in the end, the only two to pass the brutal test were Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson East and influencer Gia Giudice.

"I truly didn't think that I was gonna be able to do it," Giudice said of the tough tasks she and Johnson East conquered. "I knew I had to persevere and push through for myself and my family and also, most importantly, the [Directing Staff], because they really believed in me."**

Johnson East — who managed to make it through while her husband, former NFL player Andrew East, was among the 16 celebrities who did not — took pride in the accomplishment.

"They literally strip away people's core, and it's a very humbling experience," she said. "I learned that you can’t just tune the world out and get your job done. You have to be able to balance both."**

Tasks throughout the season tested recruits on their physical and mental stability, and the final five were subjected to an intense interrogation after an exercise simulating their capture behind enemy lines.

Here's a list of this season's celebrity recruits in the order in which they were eliminated, beginning with the first.**

Brittany Cartwright (out)

Brittany Cartwright on 'Special Forces'.

**Recruit: **Brittany Cartwright

**Status: **Quit the first day, after saying she couldn't go any further.**

**Where you know her from: **Reality TV star who's appeared on *Vanderpump Rules* and *The Valley*.**

Teresa Giudice (out)

Teresa Giudice on 'Special Forces'.

**Recruit: **Teresa Giudice

**Status:** Quit in the second episode when her daughter, Gia, was assigned to fight a fellow contestant and she couldn't bear to watch.

**Where you know her from: **One of the original stars of *The Real Housewives of New Jersey*.

Eva Marcille (out)

Eva Marcille on 'Special Forces'.

**Recruit: **Eva Marcille**

**Status: **Staff removed her armband in episode 2 and ordered her to leave the course "for your safety" after a medical incident during a challenge.

**Where you know her from:** Former *America's Next Top Model* winner, who stars on BET+'s *All the Queen's Men *and has appeared on *House of Payne*, *The Young and the Restless*, and *The Real Housewives of Atlanta*.

Jussie Smollett (out)

Jussie Smollett on 'Special Forces'.

**Recruit: **Jussie Smollett

**Status: **Medically withdrawn in episode 3, after he developed a painful cough determined to be an allergy.**

**Where you know him from: **Actor from *Empire *and* The Mighty Ducks, *who was accused of staging a hate crime, which he has denied.

Johnny Manziel (out)

Johnny Manziel on 'Special Forces'.

**Status: **Quit on the fourth day, when a task required him to crawl through narrow underground tunnels.

**Where you know him from: **Nicknamed "Johnny Football," Manziel was an accomplished college athlete who was briefly in the NFL.

Nick Young on 'Special Forces'.

**Recruit: **Nick Young

**Status: **Voluntarily withdrew from the show in the fifth episode.

**Where you know him from: **NBA star who's played for teams including the Los Angeles Lakers.

Ravi V. Patel (out)

Ravi V. Patel on 'Special Forces'.

**Recruit: **Ravi V. Patel

**Status: **Voluntarily withdrew from the show in the fifth episode.

**Where you know him from: **Actor on TV's *Animal Control *and *Master of None*.

Chanel Iman (out)

Chanel Iman on 'Special Forces'.

**Status:** Her armband was taken in the sixth episode, after she fell behind the rest of the recruits while running through the mountains.

**Where you know her from: **The model was previously one of the Victoria's Secret Angels.

Eric Decker (out)

**Recruit: **Eric Decker

**Status:** Forced to withdraw in episode 6, after he exacerbated a previous injury.

**Where you know him from:** Retired NFL player, who's been on teams including the Denver Broncos, is the husband of Jessie James Decker.**

Jessie James Decker (out)

Jessie James Decker on 'Special Forces'.

**Recruit: **Jessie James Decker

**Status: **Voluntarily withdrew from the competition in the sixth episode, when her husband, Eric Decker, received a medical withdrawal.

**Where you know her from:** A singer who has also appeared on her own reality show.

Christie Pearce Rampone (out)

Christie Pearce Rampone on 'Special Forces'.

**Recruit: **Christie Pearce Rampone

**Status: **Forced to medically withdraw, after contracting what a medic said was likely a chest infection.

**Where you know her from: **Olympic soccer star.

Mark Estes (out)

Mark Estes on 'Special Forces'.

**Recruit: **Mark Estes

**Status: **The 12th recruit to leave the show after the medic informed him that he had to be seen by a doctor right away to have his injured ear examined.

**Where you know him from:** The TikToker is one of the Montana Boyz.

Randall Cobb (out)

Randall Cobb on 'Special Forces'.

**Recruit: **Randall Cobb

**Status: **Voluntarily left on the eighth episode, after an exercise in which his team was captured by enemy forces.

**Where you know him from:** Former NFL player for teams including the Green Bay Packers.

Andrew East (out)

Andrew East on 'Special Forces'.

**Recruit: **Andrew East

**Status: **Eliminated in the final episode of the season for "failing to apply the tactics and the training" explained to him in the final portion of the course.

**Where you know him from:** Shawn Johnson's husband and a former player for NFL teams including the Las Vegas Raiders.**

Kody Brown (out)

**Status: **DS removed his armband in the final episode. They said he "just did not apply what was briefed" to him.
