Daniel Radcliffe, widely known for his role as Harry Potter in the eponymous film series, made his Broadway return to star in the interactive one-man play Every Brilliant Thing. The play is currently at the Hudson Theatre and has attracted many famous faces, including Noah Schnapp. The Stranger Things star called Radcliffe his “role model” on his Instagram Story.

Stranger Things star praises Daniel Radcliffe on Instagram

Much like Daniel Radcliffe rose to fame for his portrayal of Harry Potter in the Warner Bros. franchise, Noah Schnapp emerged as a rising star for playing Will Byers in Netflix’s Stranger Things. Schnapp recently attended the Every Brilliant Thing Broadway show and was all praises for Radcliffe after meeting him backstage.

On March 10, the young star took to his Instagram to post a photo of himself posing with the Tony Award winner. Schnapp captioned the photo, “Such a kind man and role model to me. Truly one of the few idols who exceeded every expectation. Everyone go see @brilliantbway !! ?”

In the photo, the duo posed with an arm around each other, flashing a bright smile at the camera. Schnapp sported an all-white ensemble, featuring white denims and a t-shirt, while Radcliffe wore a slate grey t-shirt with black denims.

In December 2025, Noah Schnapp shared that fans had mistaken him for Harry Potter. During his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the young actor revealed how three people linked him to the wrong franchise. He said, “Actually, when I’m alone, I’ve been getting Harry Potter the past few years. It happened three times last year, which has never happened to me before.”

Schnapp added, “They’ll come up to me and they’ll be like, ‘I love your show. Thank you.’ And I’m like, ‘Thank you so much. I appreciate the support.’ “And then they’re like, ‘I adore Harry Potter. I love the character.’ And I’m like, ‘Oh, wrong franchise.”
