Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa shared a glimpse of their nostalgic family trip to Knott’s Berry Farm in California in a recent Instagram post

Heather reflected on childhood memories of visiting the park annually with her family for her dad’s work events

The couple enjoyed rides with their older kids and revealed they’re “rollercoaster junkies” in the caption

Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa are sharing a look inside their fun-filled amusement park day!

In an Instagram post shared jointly by the married HGTV stars on Tuesday, July 7, the El Moussas walked their followers through their family’s trip to Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, Calif.

Alongside a carousel of photos and videos from their excursion, the couple also revealed why the park holds a special place in both of their hearts.

“Fun fact, we’re both rollercoaster junkies,” they began in the caption. “We love a trip to @knottsberryfarm with the kids. Both of us grew up coming here often and now we get to come with the big kids and it’s even more fun. ❤️”

Heather is stepmom to Tarek’s older children — daughter Taylor, 15, and son Brayden, 10 — from his previous marriage to ex Christina Haack. Heather and Tarek also share a 3-year-old son named Tristan together.

The first slide in their post shows the proud parents standing with Taylor and Brayden at the entrance of the park, followed by a photo of Heather striking a pose at the “Ghost Town Jail” attraction. Tarek and Brayden playfully pretend to be prisoners as they poke their heads through the barred windows.

Another video included in the post shows the group seated on the GhostRider coaster after just finishing a thrilling ride, as Heather wipes tears from her eyes and Tarek fixes his hair. Brayden can be heard saying, “That was so fun!” in the background.

The next slide offers a glimpse of the group’s photo that was taken during the ride, which showed Heather smiling and clinging to her husband’s hand, as Tarek clutched the seat railing for support.

In front of them, Brayden can be seen squinting his eyes as his hair blows in the wind. The funny shot prompts his mom to comment: “lol Brayden’s face 😂,” Haack wrote.

Also included in the post was a clip of Heather explaining why the trip was especially nostalgic for her.

“Knott’s Berry Farm brings back memories because every year, my family would come here for my dad’s work, like a big work thing, and we would do like, a big lunch and then we would ride the rides together. So it brings back memories of every year I was growing up,” she concludes.
