Philadelphia 76ers star Jaylen Brown is one who has many interests outside of the game of basketball. He took classes at MIT to further his education, he has done a lot in the community in terms of his philanthropic work, and now has taken on surfing, apparently.
Video footage of Brown surfing has recently popped up around social media and it's due to two USA swimmers who found a random GoPro camera and decided to look at what's stored on the camera.

Swimmers Patrick Sammon and Michael Andrew recanted the story about how they found Brown's GoPro and what they did with it:
Sammon: As soon we turned it on, we're like, 'Oh, this guy looks super familiar.'
Andrew: And for sure an athlete. Like, this guy's huge.
Sammon: Like this guy is almost 7-feet tall and there's, like, a mic boom over his head so we can see he has a full on camera crew...We just took that clip, the one that's going viral around, asking the internet and see if they could help us find Jaylen Brown. We didn't know Jaylen Brown at the time, but, like, basically within the first two minutes, like, 'Bro, you don't know this is Jaylen Brown?'
Brown will look to help the Sixers get over the hump in the Eastern Conference as he and the new-look roster will look to seriously challenge the defending champion New York Knicks in the 2026-27 season.
