VOTE for the Morris/Sussex Baseball Player of the Week for May 4-10

After another wild week of the high school baseball season, it's time to look back on the best performances.

Read about the players who stood out last week and let us know who you think should be the Morris/Sussex Player of the Week in the poll at the bottom of this page.

Voting closes at 5 p.m. Thursday.

Luca Anello-Fiorina, Kinnelon

Anello-Fiorina went 7-for-8 at the plate last week with an RBI, double and a stolen base while also leading his team to a key road victory on the mound. Pitched 5⅔innings with eight strikeouts while allowing just two earned runs and three walks.

Jordan Ledesma, Parsippany Hills

Ledesma had seven hits last week in 10 plate appearances with four RBIs, four stolen bases and a triple.

Brayden Longo, Mount Olive

Longo went 6-for-11 last week with four runs, three RBIs, a double, three home runs and three stolen bases. Belted two home runs in a MCT semifinal win over West Morris.

Liam McClung, Lenape Valley

McClung pitched an eight-inning complete game win vs Newton with nine strikeouts, four hits, no walks and two earned runs.

Aedan Riley, Pequannock

Riley pitched a seven-inning complete game, giving up just one hit with 13 strikeouts against Whippany Park. At the plate, went 2-for-5 with a double, home run and two runs scored to help Pequannock go 3-0 for the week.
