Poor new era of *Survivor*. Fans love to roast it, and in our recent poll of which era viewers liked more, the “old” era of *Survivor* absolutely trounced the new with an incredible 94 percent of the vote (at time of publishing). But maybe it was a little unfair to compare eras. What if we just compared the new era to… THE NEW ERA!

Not counting the just-started *Survivor 50* (which features both old-school and new-school contestants), which new-era installment is the best? Which season from 41 through 49 reigns supreme? I myself have *Survivor 45* (in which Dee Valladares emerged victorious) as the best new-era season in my franchise season rankings, but that is just one person’s humble opinion. Am I right? Am I wrong? That is for you to decide!
