The fourth episode of season 3 shows Cole picking up a $35,000 ring for Kacie, with whom he shares a daughter

Cole, who commented on the family’s financial struggles in the episode, first went ring shopping in season 2, but his proposal was declined

In the new episode of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys, starCole McBee shares a glimpse at how his second time ring shopping for fiancée Kacie Adkison went down.

Episode 4 of the show’s third season sees Cole take brother Jesse along to pick up his engagement ring for Kacie, which then reveals the whopping $35,000 price tag of the sparkler.

“This is a really big week for me. I’m finally proposing to Kacie. I know what I want, and I want to spend the rest of my life with her,” says Cole, who first popped the question to Kacie in season 2, but she declined. At the time, Kacie said she felt like the two, who were in an on-again relationship for several years, needed “a little more time.”

As the brothers admired the ring — which boasts a 3.16 radiant cut diamond — Cole said that his wife-to-be wanted something “big.”

“I’ve been saving up for this ring for a long time. Even though, you know, finances aren’t great right now at the farm, Kacie deserves it,” Cole says.

The McBee family has, over the years, been strained by the family’s farming debt and patriarch Steve Sr.’s sentencing in a crop insurance fraud case. Steve pleaded guilty to engaging in “fraudulent activity from 2018 to 2020 that caused an economic loss to the U.S. Department of Agriculture,” per a press release published by the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Western District of Missouri in November 2024.

Cole’s proposal was filmed before Steve Sr. reported to prison and aired months after he began serving his sentence at a federal prison camp in Yankton, S.D. He was sentenced to 24 months in prison and ordered to pay $4,022,124 in restitution on Oct. 16, 2025.

Still, Cole’s proposal — which occurred on Nov. 7, 2025, at The Elms Hotel & Spa in Missouri, per Bravo — went off without a hitch, and with the bride-to-be said yes!

“I’m a fiancée now,” Kacie says in her confessional. “I honestly can’t believe it because I didn’t know Cole could be this romantic. It’s truly everything I’ve been dreaming of. Since the day I knew I loved Cole, there was never once a doubt in my mind and I can’t wait to spend forever with him.”

“I’m officially an engaged man. I’m off the market. All the women I got to tell them, I’m off limits,” Cole says, beaming.

Speaking with PEOPLE following the proposal, Cole and Kacie opened up about the special milestone.

“Kacie is the biggest spy, she knows everything going on, and we were able to keep it a secret,” he said at the time. “It surprised her, and that was the number one thing I wanted.”

On including their daughter Blair, 1, he added, “We want to include her in everything we do. She’s our whole world and our whole life.”

“I had no idea. I thought we were just going to dinner, and when I was walking outside, I thought I was being pranked. I realized it wasn’t a prank when I saw Cole and Blair walk out, and the whole trail up to the gazebo was covered in flowers,” Kacie said. “I wanted a lot of flowers included in my proposal. I was very happy and very shocked.”

“They have been on me about this for the last at least two years now, but for sure the last year since Blair has been born,” Cole told PEOPLE. “They already considered Kacie family, but now she’s just officially family.”

And Kacie looks forward to planning a “big wedding.” She shared, “We would like to do it early October, late September of next year, but it just depends. And we want to do it on the farm with a mechanical bull.”
