The Voice finished its Battle Round on Monday’s episode.
Team Queen’s Sophia Liano and Mia Knight teamed up on a song that left the coaches shocked.
The excitement prompted Queen Latifah to damage her jewelry and Kelly Clarkson to leave her red chair.
Queen Latifah was really into a Battle performance on Monday’s episode of The Voice — so much so that she cracked a stone on her jewelry.
It happened as two members of her team, Sophia Liano and Mia Knight, sang “Never Enough” from The Greatest Showman. And it was, in the words of coaches Riley Green and Adam Levine, shocking, it was so good. Kelly Clarkson got out of her big red chair to watch closer. And Queen hit the console in front of her.
“What you just did out there, we are all better for it!” she raved. “Kelly got out of that chair. I literally had to take my ring off because I cracked the stone on here, on one of those notes. I was like, ‘What?!’ So you owe me a ring, but I think you can run me that by winning this show.”

The judges were collectively wowed by the performances from Liano, a 22-year-old from Stuart, Fla., and Knight, a 16-year-old from Holmdel, N.J.
“That was shocking,” Green said. “I didn’t know people could sing like that in real life. Y’all could’ve stopped halfway through and it would have been awesome. And then y’all did all that other stuff. That was crazy. I don’t know who y’all are or what y’all are doing, but y’all should sing. Both of you.”
He complimented Liano’s “awesome tone” and told Knight, “your range is insane.”
For Clarkson, it was a tie right up to the end.
“It was neck and neck for me, until the Lord came down,” Clarkson said, “and I don’t know what you did, Mia, the little jab you got in there with that little run....You should feel proud that you just did that on national TV.”
Levine agreed with Green’s assessment of the duet.
“That was, to quote Riley Green, shocking,” the Maroon 5 frontman said. “Especially to be 16, it’s incredible, because to be able to do it with the maturity, Mia, that you have and just the way you attack a vocal is just strangely adept for someone your age.”

He said tone is “everything” to him, and he was a fan of Liano’s.
“Your tone is amazing,” Levine said. “And your sheer ability was what made you shine in that moment.”
Queen knew she had a brutal decision to make because only one of the women could stay on the show.
“Sophia, I’m just so glad that you had a song like that to really display your talent. You did a beautiful job,” the U.N.I.T.Y rapper said. “Mia, you have leveled up and leveled up. You should both be very proud of yourselves.”
She predicted Clarkson would give her number to someone, because “that’s how she does it.”
After thinking for a moment, Queen, whose team mentor is Patti LaBelle, made her decision.
“Thank you so much for all this beautiful effort, Sophia,” she said. “But Mia is the winner of this Battle.”

Queen told the camera that she made the decision she did because of Mia’s way of controlling the microphone.
“Mia’s only 16 but, you know, my first record came out when I was 17,” she said. “Like, some people are ready, and she is ready to keep moving forward in this competition.”
Next week’s episode is the beginning of the show’s new Cut Week, in which each coach will trim their team of seven to three.
The Voice airs Monday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and streams the next day on Peacock.
