A World Cup fan has gone viral for his enthusiastic reaction to a U.S. restaurant.

Danny, a World Cup fan from Cameroon who saved up for years to attend the tournament in the U.S., shared a now-viral TikTok on June 18 documenting his excitement about LongHorn Steakhouse, prompting the restaurant to gift him another visit, a rep for the company told PEOPLE.

In his viral review of the steakhouse, Danny says, “I went somewhere last night,” laughing in sheer joy.

“I went to a steakhouse, a steak place. Mamma Mia! Medium rare ribeye attached with wine. I swear I have never tasted steak this good in my entire life,” he insists.

“Steak that ignites the soul!!! That steak made me so happy . Thank you 🇺🇸 ,” the fan wrote in his caption of the video, which has over 370,000 likes.

“That’s what we like to hear,” the steakhouse commented on his post.

Other Americans reacted with pride and appreciation for Danny’s enthusiasm.

“These visitors are making me feel a little patriotic again 🥹,” one commenter wrote of fans visiting the U.S. for the World Cup.

Another said, “As an American I’m getting so much joy watching our house guests experiencing our home for the first time.”

The LongHorn adventures were just beginning for Danny.

“LongHorn called and gave me a treat of my life,” Danny says in another video. “They gave me a treat that, when I go back home, I will remember.”

He expressed his shock at being treated like a “VIP” at the restaurant despite not being an “influencer,” adding that even their comment on his initial video was “a big privilege.”

“They reached out, they did not only surprise me with gifts, but they had me sit in the restaurant and enjoy myself,” he said.

“I thought that I have eaten it all until I got served again,” he added, saying he had a ribeye steak with “the finest wine.” He also said that he added a parmesan crust to his ribeye, and that the restaurant gave him chicken with a parmesan crust, along with bread that was hard to stop eating.

“That bread was so fine, so nice, so soft, so crunchy, so delicious,” he said.

To top it all off, Danny said, the restaurant gave him a “wonderful, nice cake.”

“I held the cake, and I was shaking,” he said. He added that interacting with the manager gave him the “privilege” of being “acknowledged.”

“I was so happy,” he said. “I had the best time of my life. I did not know I’m going to have the best time of my life in America.”

He proceeded to thank the steakhouse, saying “LongHorn itself, the animal itself” was sitting right above him while he ate.

“You’re officially a legend at our table, Danny. We’ll have your seat ready for next time,” the steakhouse wrote on his post.

Danny reacted ecstatically when the restaurant gave him LongHorn-branded gifts as well. He shared another video opening the presents they gave him, from a hat to an outfit and bib for his daughter, who is seven months old and with him in the U.S., he said in another video.

Danny shared that he saved for his trip to the U.S. for four years in the video, saying that he is a Microsoft instructor and printer at home.

“That’s why my happiness, it’s so intense because coming to America here feels like I have elevated my status,” he said. “I need to save to afford a lot of stuff. I actually sold my car.”

He said that at home, he can’t afford “high-class restaurants,” saying that there may be steak spots in Cameroon, but he has never had steak there because he usually has to save up to afford that kind of food.

“I’m doing things here that if I was back home, it would take me like months or years to do it,” he said.

“Seeing Danny’s pure joy during his first LongHorn Steakhouse experience gave us all a reason to smile,” LongHorn Steakhouse told PEOPLE over email. “We’re honored he chose to dine with us during his travels in the United States and that he discovered his new favorite steak along the way: our medium rare bone-in Outlaw Ribeye. Danny perfectly captured the feeling that first bite of an expertly grilled steak can bring, and he’ll always be part of the LongHorn family.”

Other World Cup fans have also gained attention for their enthusiastic reactions to U.S. staples during the World Cup, from sharing appreciation for ranch to highlighting fast food chains.
