A former Brazilian model has opened up about spending time with the Trumps and revealed a side of Melania that the public rarely gets to see. Previously in a relationship with Paolo Zampolli, a special envoy for President Donald Trump, she rubbed shoulders with many of the world's most powerful figures.
Reflecting on the early stages of their relationship, Amanda recalled first meeting Donald Trump on his plane.
"[Paolo] told me, 'Amanda, Trump [has] invited us to go back to New York City in his plane'," she told The Observer. This comes after a former White House worker offered an insight into what she claims it was like working for Trump.

Often in close proximity to Donald and Melania Trump due to her partner at the time's work, Amanda said they would also attend parties at Mar-a-Lago. But while many might relish such a lifestyle, Amanda admitted she found it "boring".
Sharing a memory of Melania following the birth of her son Giovanni in 2010, Amanda said the First Lady showed her softer side.

"Melania was the first person to call and say happy birthday to my son at 7am, sending presents at every birthday," she shared.
Amanda's memories of the Trumps come amid recent reports about Melania's limited public appearances.
According to an NBC News analysis, she has attended around half as many public events as she had at this point during Trump's first term as President.

After not being seen publicly for a month in August, she appeared to joke about reports questioning where she had been.
Addressing the crowd at the Rose Garden, where she promoted her foster care initiative, she said: "I heard you missed me. Here I am."
Days later, she and Trump attended the Freedom 250 Grand Prix in Washington DC. Footage from the day appeared to show Melania having a tense conversation with Trump in the stands.
A 26-second clip showed her seemingly making an impassioned point as her husband listened and appeared to agree.

According to lip reader Jeremy Freeman, Melania stated at one point: "That's the problem, people react." Her husband responded: "We'll knock it off."
Body language specialist Beth Dawson also analyzed the footage and, according to her, the pair seemed to be aligned on an unidentified subject.
She told us: "I don't see a wife berating her husband, I see two people engaged on the same issue.
"I think Melania is angry about something but we actually see signs that he agrees with whatever it is she is angry about," she added.
"Initially Donald Trump looks quite relaxed - he is leaning forward and clasping his hands together. This is his baseline posture.
"It's also interesting to see that they are sat close together and there doesn't look like there is animosity between them."
