Zendaya just put her bridal-era on pause to explore a new wedding role: the surprise witness.

On Saturday, one lucky couple got the shock of a lifetime when the Euphoria actress crashed their ceremony to serve as a witness for their Las Vegas chapel wedding. In a video shared on A24's Instagram Stories, Zendaya was seen popping her head through the chapel doors, prompting gasps from the wedding guests.

Additional clips and photos see the actress enjoying the wedding from the back row and excitedly applauding as the couple are married. In one clip, she signs her name as an official witness to the ceremony and quips, "Last name reveal," referencing her tendency to go by just her first name.

In another snippet, she poses beside newlyweds Payton Whitmore and Kadeem Strickland, along with her The Drama costar Alana Haim.

All the while, Zendaya is photographed wearing a gold, sleeveless corset two-piece, accompanied by a gold band on her finger. The outfit is a vibe change from the red carpet looks that she has lately been photographed in — bridal-esque white gowns that not only nod to the subject matter of her upcoming film The Drama, but wink at the rampant rumors of her alleged secret wedding to partner Tom Holland.

Earlier this month, speculation began circulating that the pair — who have reportedly been engaged since December 2024 — had secretly gotten hitched after an Access Hollywood interview with her longtime stylist Law Roach on the red carpet at the Actor Awards. "The wedding has already happened," Roach said at the time. "You missed it!"

That same night, the actress was spotted wearing a gold band in the place of her usual engagement ring. Days later, Zendaya's mom, Claire Stoermer, shared the interview footage in a post to her Instagram Story, writing over the video, "The laugh...." Stoermer pointedly neither confirmed nor denied the claim.

In addition to the ring switch-up and Roach's shocking comments, the actress was overheard accepting well wishes from attendees at Essence’s Black Women in Hollywood Awards on March 12.

The wedding talk has also been intensified by the fact that Zendaya is presently making the rounds to promote The Drama, a romantic thriller about an engaged couple whose relationship unravels in the days leading up to their wedding after a shocking secret comes out during an innocent dinner party game.

In honor of the film, A24 launched a limited-time chapel experience where fans could get hitched along with cardboard cutouts of the film's stars, Zendaya and Robert Pattinson.

"A love like yours deserves a wedding that raises the stakes. Why not do it in Vegas?... We've got witnesses if you need them, a photographer to catch every second, and a few surprises that'd make even Elvis blush," the studio wrote, teasing Zendaya's surprise appearance.

Holland and Zendaya, who first met in 2016 while playing love interests in Spider-Man: Homecoming and began dating sometime in 2021, are notoriously private about their relationship and rarely walk red carpet events together.

As rumors of their marriage abound, the couple are set to spend much of their summer potentially in the public eye together. Both actors will appear in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, set for a July 17 opening. And then, just two weeks later, the actors will release their fourth Spidey collaboration, Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
